Detectives have launched a homicide investigation following the dying of a person in Cheetham Hill.
The sufferer has been formally recognized as 50-year-old Nadeem Butt.
His physique was found by paramedics on Woodlands Avenue, in Cheetham Hill, on Wednesday (August 5).
Police had been known as by ambulance crews at round 2pm after discovering Mr Butt’s physique.
Officers from North Manchester swiftly launched an investigation into the suspicious dying.
A autopsy examination has since been carried out and concluded that Mr Butt was significantly assaulted previous to his dying.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
