When McDonald’s reopened its doorways to UK prospects following a closure because of the pandemic, the quick meals chain introduced that it will be working with a diminished menu.
Since then, most of our favorite merchandise have returned, with the likes of McDonald’s breakfast, Hen Legends and milkshakes again to maintain us all pleased.
However some vegetarians and vegans are actually claiming that they’ve been left with none ‘actual’ choices – as they’ve been unable to order veggie dippers, and have been left with solely ‘fries or carrot sticks’ to select from.
A number of vegetarians have posted their complaints on Twitter, with some folks claiming they have been unable to buy veggie choices at a couple of restaurant.

A fourth wrote: ” @McDonaldsUK Gutted no veggie dippers or vegetarian burgers at 2 of your eating places tonight. Are you continue to providing vegan/vegetarian choices moreover chips?”
” @McDonaldsUK youre vegetarian choices are pathetic. The one alternative we’ve got is salad and fries ! Horrible,” tweeted yet one more irritated buyer.
One other Twitter consumer requested: ” @McDonaldsUK it’s actually nice that the one veggie possibility you’ll be able to supply at the moment is fries or a bag of carrots #feelslikethe90s is there a scarcity of the veggie dippers?”
A McDonald’s spokesperson advised Manchester Night Information: “Attributable to a problem whereby a few of our Veggie Dippers haven’t met the excessive requirements that we anticipate from our merchandise, we have briefly eliminated these from our menu.
“We’re working arduous to return our Dippers to the menu as rapidly as attainable, and apologise to our prospects for any disappointment brought on.”
