Cinema chain Odeon have mentioned it is going to transfer 1 / 4 of its UK branches to a weekend-only mannequin from this Friday.

Odeon, which is owned by AMC Theaters, the world’s largest cinema chain with greater than 1,000 retailers, mentioned the enterprise is struggling to remain open with restricted new releases.
“We sit up for reopening full-time when the large blockbusters return,” the corporate mentioned in an e-mail to clients.
“However within the meantime, we promise to convey you a terrific alternative of big-screen movies to get pleasure from on the weekends.”
It has not but been revealed which Odeon branches will likely be affected by the modifications.
It’s understood the announcement was made previous to MGM and Common’s determination to delay the newest James Bond film from November to April 2021.
The information comes as rival chain Cineworld confirmed it is going to briefly shut 127 of its websites from Thursday. The choice will have an effect on round 45,000 staff within the UK and the US.
