Gary Neville unveils his manifesto to reform the FA and English football

Gary Neville is one among eight individuals to have launched a manifesto calling for substantial reforms to English soccer.

Former Manchester United star Neville, together with the likes of former FA chairman David Bernstein and Better Manchester mayor Andy Burnham, have launched a ‘Saving the Lovely Sport’ manifesto that calls on the federal government to put in an impartial regulator or commissioner of soccer.

The manifesto consists of reforms of the FA, with the group arguing that the governing physique “lacks credibility and has proved to be largely ineffective.”

Explaining the plans to Sky Sports activities,Neville mentioned that he not trusts that soccer can reform itself following the coronavirus pandemic.

Neville mentioned: “The precept is that we do not belief that soccer can govern itself and create the fairest deal for all.
